Individual Psychotherapy: In-person or virtual ($180 for 50-min session)
Psychotherapy is 50 minutes that are COMPLETELY yours. Whether we are sitting on my couches, taking a walk, or Zoom-ing, that window of time is designed for you to feel heard and supported. Oftentimes, we will be able to review the challenges you might have encountered over the week and see how we can use them as data about what’s working, what’s not working, and what experiments you might be open to doing in the weeks ahead to gather more data. These sessions can certainly go beyond topics related to weight management.
PocketDoc: 50-min psychotherapy session + Daily Text Access ($220 per week)
Putting your experience into words – in the moment – can be a powerful strategy to get some instant relief. With PocketDoc, you will have the option to message me daily to get support between our sessions. We will decide together how to structure the content of the message so I can be most helpful to you. The PocketDoc option can definitely be helpful, even if you have goals other than weight loss.
“Help THEM Understand” sessions: In-person or virtual ($180 for 50-min session)
Dealing with the food police? Or the Food Pushers? They mean well, for sure, but they can do and say the MOST unhelpful things. As part of our work together, we can figure out how to bring them on board to support you (or how to get them to stay the heck out of your beeswax!). Again, these sessions can be great to bring your loved ones on board with ANY changes you are making – even totally unrelated to food and weight.
